Edgar Cayce reputedly offered astrological readings using the Draconic chart. I don’t know about others, but my Draconic chart represents who I want to be. This may well be coincidental or unique for me. When I am absolutely uninhibited my characteristics tend to be identified more with this chart than with my natal chart proper, at least that’s what my friends said about me. If you want to know who you really want to be at the SOUL level, examine your Draconic chart rather than your normal birth chart.

Hi!
Draconic astrology seems so interesting! What is it exactly? 🙂

Thanks for that, it really cleared things up!
I looked at my draconic chart, I’m not really sure what to think! I found it really interesting to look at though, I’m extremely watery in my draconic chart, whereas in my natal I’m all air! Haha, but there’s defo something in the psychicness of my draconic chart, I’ve always wanted to be in touch with spiritual and psychic things, and in my drac chart I’m a Pisces moon and asc, Scorpio Sun and Mercury!

If you feel that something’s missing from your natal chart proper, it is probable that you’ll find it in your Draconic chart. Water and Air is usually the winning combination for astrologers. That’s usually because astrologers typically don’t operate exclusively in astrology, most of us practice other disciplines such as alchemy, dream working, tarot, Qi Gong, Feng Shui, palmistry, etc. Being a polymath makes us more competitive in our vocation.

I am very much into palmistry, dream working and I’ve started to look into tarot and alchemy! I also really like crystals and dowsing. This all makes so much more sense! Haha!

I haven’t touched dowsing yet. Although I am interested in crystals, I am more proficient with herbalism. My current strongest area is dream working. I look at Tarot symbolism for dream interpretation but do not offer Tarot reading in my career/business. My system incorporates Traditional Chinese (my native) elements with more Western, contemporary styles. The palmistry we learn in the UK is actually different from the one you can learn in China, but there is much in common between the two styles.

I really liked dowsing, although you have to be serious about it, I learnt that the hard way haha :L my pendulum used to break on me and snap when I was asking it ‘testing’ questions and things that I didn’t really care about!
That’s really interesting! I’d really like to look into that! What’s the difference between them? 🙂

The differences can’t be explained even in a series of books, it would take really long to do so. The Traditional Chinese styles are usually much more complex and go much deeper. This leads most old-school Chinese practitioner to a lack of humility and they often speak ill of other systems. This is what I don’t like about them. Mastery of ancient Chinese language is imperative to learn the system, translation can’t bring anyone there. My aunt is an expert on this, my mom also learnt some, but she eventually discarded them for the sake of her Christianity. As a Christian, I find no problem with many aspects of Chinese divination, most of them rely on calculation and a thorough understanding of principles, there is spiritualism only in the less systematic arts. I normally can’t be bothered about those.

Reblogged this on doramapolis and commented:
I am more like my Draconic chart than my natal chart, that’s because Draconic chart is our soul, natal chart is our body. If you comprehend this analogy, you’ll know what I mean.

Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
